  1. error 1286 (42000): Unknown table engine ‘ndb’

    I get this error when I execute the below command
    mysql> create table simples (id int not null primary key) engine=ndb;

    my.cnf:

    1. It looks like the mysqld that you’re connected too is not one that is part of a MySQL Cluster package as the NDB Storage engine is not listed when you run show engines; – that would explain the error message you see.
